What We Do
Reconditioning Services
We also offer reconditioning of tools which would include re-tipping or re-grinding (to a smaller I.C.) of PCD and CBN inserts where the main body of the insert is still in good shape but the tip in worn or fractured.

ACT can manufacture your modified brazed tools, inserts or special form tools to your supplied sample or blueprint specifications.

PCD Tools
PCD (Polycrystalline Diamond) tools are designed for a broad range of materials to include but not limited to aluminum, graphite, brass, copper and plastics, giving you greater tool life and a lower cost per cut from traditional carbide inserts.
CBN Tools
CBN (Cubic Boron Nitride) tools are suitable for hardened steels, gray cast Iron, and super alloys to name a few. This operation will help you hold tighter tolerances while maintaining a superior finish allowing your operators to be more productive with less tool change.
